Firmeo is an online database of Romanian companies, running since 2014. On Firmeo you can check any company by CUI or name for free, buy company lists filtered by field of activity, county, financial indicators and contact details, and receive public tender alerts and the weekly list of newly established companies. The platform is operated by KENDALL ENTERPRISE GROUP SRL of Arad.

The database contains more than 2.7 million companies, more than 1.4 million people in management positions and more than 1.9 million mobile phone numbers, according to the counters on the home page. We do not supply deregistered or bankrupt companies. Company status and VAT status are shown with the date of the query, and the financial indicators come from the financial statements filed with the Ministry of Finance.

2. The user account

Without an accountYou search for any company and see its profile for free: status, tax situation, VAT, ANAF debts, CAEN code, registered office and a summary of its latest financial statements.
With a free accountYou use filters and advanced searches, save selections and place orders. The account is free to create, from Open account.
With an access packageYou unlock the full profile: management, phone, email, website and the detailed financial statements, plus Excel export of the companies you have viewed and API access.

From the “My account” menu you reach: Viewed (the companies whose profiles you have opened, from where you can export them), My selections (saved selections and export progress), My alerts (the tenders you follow), Invoices and Settings, where you also find the API key. 3. Searching for a company

  1. By name or CUI: type in the “Search for a company” bar on the home page and open the profile from the results.
  2. Advanced search: with the button next to “Search” you can search by the name of a director or shareholder (with county and town) or by a mobile number, an email address or a website.
  3. Information about a specific company: on the Company information by name and CUI page you request information about the companies you are looking for.
  4. Free lists: companies grouped by county and by field of activity.

4. Company check by CUI

Each company profile shows for free the status at the Trade Register, whether the company is fiscally active, its VAT status, ANAF debts, CAEN code, registered office and a summary of its latest financial statements (turnover, profit, employees). A company in insolvency is shown with the status INACTIVA (inactive). What each field means: Company check by CUI.

5. Database selection, step by step

On the Database selection page, logged in to your account. All filters are optional.

1. Identification dataYou choose the county on the map or the town, and whether you want only active companies or all companies.
2. Fields of activityYou choose the CAEN codes (rev. 3): a whole section, a 2-digit division, a 3-digit group or a 4-digit class. You can tick several.
3. Contact detailsFor email, mobile and landline phone, website and management you choose: “If available”, “Required” (only companies that have the field) or “Remove from selection”.
4. Financial dataYou choose the financial statement year (2013–2025) and the currency (RON or EUR) and set minimum and maximum limits for turnover, profit, share capital and number of employees.
5. Selection resultsYou see the number of companies and the first results (“See the companies”). You can save the query to reuse it or reset it.
6. Complete the orderYou see the list price, the volume discount and the total, with and without VAT, choose the format (Excel .xlsx or text .csv) and pay online or order by phone.

Immediately after the payment is confirmed you receive the download link for the file by email. The selection is paid once, per selection, with no subscription. The file contains only the fields chosen in the filter.

What is Firmeo?

Firmeo is an online database of Romanian companies, running since 2014 and operated by KENDALL ENTERPRISE GROUP SRL of Arad. On Firmeo you check companies by CUI for free, buy filtered company lists, and receive public tender alerts and the list of newly established companies.

Is Firmeo trustworthy?

Firmeo is operated by a company registered in Romania (KENDALL ENTERPRISE GROUP SRL, CUI 33784982, J2/1160/2014), the data comes from official sources, you see the price before paying, and the tax invoice can be downloaded from your account. The Firmeo profile on Google is rated 5.0 from 15 reviews.

Where does the data come from?

From official public sources: the Trade Register, ANAF and the Ministry of Finance (financial statements). Company status and VAT status are shown with the date of the query.

How many companies are in the database?

More than 2.7 million companies, with more than 1.4 million people in management positions and more than 1.9 million mobile phone numbers, according to the counters on the Firmeo home page. Deregistered or bankrupt companies are not supplied in the lists.

How do I make a company selection?

On the Database selection page, logged in, you go through five optional steps: identification data, fields of activity (CAEN), contact details, financial data and results. At the end you see the price, choose Excel or CSV and pay; the download link arrives by email immediately after the payment is confirmed.

Do I need a subscription for a selection?

No. A custom selection is paid once, per selection. The annual packages are for full company profiles, export of viewed companies and the API.

What is the difference between the Economic, Standard, Superior and Unlimited packages?

The number of views differs: Economic 187 lei per year with 500 + 200 bonus, Standard 289 lei per year with 1,000 + 500 bonus, Superior 550 lei per year with 6,000 + 2,000 bonus. Unlimited costs 239 lei per month and has unlimited views, but no export and no API. Prices exclude VAT.

How long are credits valid?

One credit means viewing one full company profile. Credits in the annual packages are valid for 12 months or until used up; the Unlimited package is active for 30 days from activation.

What can I see without an account?

Company profiles, with status, tax situation, VAT, ANAF debts, CAEN code, registered office and a summary of the latest financial statements. The free account adds advanced searches, saved selections and orders.

How do I receive the list of newly established companies?

With a subscription, every Monday by email, you receive the file with the companies established in the previous week, in Excel, CSV or Access. The annual subscription costs 711 lei excluding VAT; there are also 90- and 180-day options, and the sample file can be downloaded for free.

How much do public tender alerts cost?

449 lei per month for one category, 540 lei per month for 3 categories and 649 lei per month for unlimited categories, excluding VAT, with a 7-day free trial. The list of tenders can also be consulted for free.

Do I need a package for the API?

Yes. The API is included in the annual Economic, Standard and Superior packages: a new company uses 1 credit, and re-querying it is free while the package is valid. The Unlimited package does not include the API.

How can I pay and where do I find the invoice?

You pay online by card or by bank transfer. The tax invoice can be downloaded from My account, in the Invoices section, within 48 hours of payment at the latest.

Where can I find the terms and conditions and the GDPR notice?

The terms and conditions of use are on privacy.firmeo.ro, and for your rights regarding personal data you use the GDPR request form. Both are also linked from the footer of every Firmeo page.
